Busy Busy

The month of July is always the busiest for me, we are a super crazy family when it comes to the 4th of July festivities and Pionner Day's parade. So excited. My Kaaja is old enough to just love fireworks and balloons, and BBQ and Parades and more fireworks, wohoo! and then there is hikes with dad and nap time during that hike.

Don't expect my house to always be clean, as much as i try it doesn't stay that way. I have crazy Mahly now crawling and pulling and hitting things. She is too cute though. I love those rolls. I will miss them when she starts walking and thins out.

Then of course we have the typical run in's where Kaaja loves her Caillou and refuses to take her nap but when mom steps away and comes back, and finds her taking her nap on the chair. That's darling too.

We enjoy our outings with Grandma Jacobberger too.

Summer..Maybe a little bit of Winter???

Our Utah weather has been so random lately, we don't know if it's Spring, Summer or Winter at times ;)
We have been busy and trying to make sure that the girls are always doing something. If it isn't camping in Zion National Park or in the mountains cooking or the park ;)

Kaaja is always with her cousin, they are best friends for sure. This is our goal. We want to make sure that they are always together. Growing up in my family, we never used the words "cousin, uncles, aunt, grandpa" we didn't have anyone. So we always make sure we are all together on weekends, wether we are DI hopping or eating out, or just cooking. We are usually together.

My Mahly is starting to grow up and I can start seeing "kid" actions from her. She will say "yaya" which is short for her sister "Kaaja", and she will also say "Mama, Dadda" and everyone now and then she will throw in "Que" which is "What" in spanish. She will only crawl if its towards someone to pick her up and she will crawl toward me usually crying. She will never crawl happily.

We went up to Mount Timpanogos, just to have a BBQ out there, and the water was so high, but we had fun just hanging up there and seeing all the beautiful sorroundings. We are so lucky to live in this state with such wonderful mountains.

We went up there with my mom and aunt. We had fun.

While my aunt was being "Curious George" she slipped. Good thing she was okay.

The next new thing we just did, was Madison's Birthday. She turned 3 years old!!! She was so cute, and my Mahly also partied like a CHUNK ;)) she got a ring pop and sucked on it and got all her saliva over herself, that's why she is all shiny, i had to go and bathe her.

I count my blessings everyday with my little Angels like these. I thank my heavenly father that he loves me enough to entrust me with these little gems from heaven.

My little Kaaja is my little independent grown up. She loves to drive and enjoys doing things all on her own. You may not help her. She will be quick to tell you "I can do it".

You can kind of see this, but it's Josiah pulling a cart that has a chair on top of the cart and Kaaja the princess sitting on it. Josiah took Kaaja out for a walk in Cottonwood Heights.

It was also my birthday and we got to have some cake at home. Kaaja really enjoyed it.

She loves cakes and we have been celebrating her birthday for the past 4 months now, her actual birthday is Sept but she has been celebrating it a little early.

Little Mahly has been trying to crawl and Kaaja tries to encourage her and everyone tries to get Mahly to come to them but she really won't. She will just sit there and smile at you and wait for you to pick her up.

My little Mahly is my little sweet angel. She is the best baby i know of. She will not ever make a fuzz nor ever embarrass you in public. She is the best behaved baby ever and she loves everyone usually.

Too much fun. Our house is always full of toys everywhere. Yes this is the daily stage of our house. Our girls rule our 4 walls right now and soon we will take control again ;) But for now, they are the queens.

I love the gift of being a mom and i know that all my friends feel the same about their little precious angels that they have as well. My little Mahly is growing like a weed and Kaaja is just running around in circles in my head. My Kaaja can now distinguish words in spanish and english. She can count to 20 in spanish and working on it in English. She adores Dora the Explorer and plays with her cousin "Swipper no Swippe" and then you hear Madison say "Oh Man" haha and they laugh.

Mahly will now laugh and play with Kaaja, they hold hands and play the kissing game where Kaaja will kiss her and Mahly will turn her head and laugh and Kaaja laughs, it's the cutest thing to watch. So funny. Mahly is spoiled. She loves to be held, she is the best baby ever, she will not cry, she will reverantly stay in your arms and not say a peep as long as you are holding her.

She is the funniest little girl. Lots of chubbs in that baby.

I have boughten so many umbrellas for Kaaja, it's insane! They break because someone will play and play with them and it's chaos.

Oh yes and Barbies. They seem to be every where as well. Cinderella is her favorite ;)

Time to Reflect

I can't believe how much things have changed from one year to another. I am always grateful to those that make those changes positive ones as life progresses, specially family. I look back and see my Kaaja and Mahly and I am thankful for all my blessings. Here are some fun pictures i found.

Kaaja is more tanner and Madison is no longer chubby! haha I will always call her "Gorda" because she was so fun and cute!

Josiah had a 2010 Birthday and Kaaja is no longer on a bottle, Teddy no longer has long hair and now is one of the strongest men i know, literally ;) Mr, Jr Muscle Man ;)

Ben and Debs are now in California and not Arizona anymore, wohoo!! So we get to see them more! and little Kaaja loves her Aunt Deborah and Uncle Ben's horses.

We had a successful flight to Miami in the airplane in 2008, wohoo. Little Kaaja was awesome!

Little Lannaea is no longer a chub either, she is a beautiful little girl and Kaaja really likes her, and asks me for her all the time, even though she really only played with her once.

And my Kaaja was so cute! Those little chubby cheecks and those little legs i miss so much! But to hear her counting in spanish and english and babbling to her cousin is priceless.
Now i have a new baby and i love and adore her! My Mahly is a jewel from heaven. A complete opposite from Kaaja in all aspects. It's light night and day. I often think of Claudia and Leah, they were night and day physically and mentally. But still sisters. So i think of those days fondly, and i think of my girls.

This is my slobbery princess Mahly. She is my doll. She is a sweetheart. Loves anyone that holds her and plays with her. She is a angel from heaven. I look forward to all the memories with her and thank my heavenly father for my girls.
To 2011 and more memories to come ;)

Baby Mahly

So we blessed Mahly on Sunday Dec 26. It was a pleasant experience with immediate family. I couldn't deal with inviting everyone and cooking and preparing and where i would put everyone. My house is only 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, small home. So i apologize if you are offended, i just wanted the simpliest thing ever.

My little angel was perfect as always. She was a sweet little reminder at church of the birth of christ and just how special we are to be trusted with these little souls.

I can't wait to see what 2011 brings us and thank our heavenly father for his trials and tribulations and blessings that he gives us to better ourselves.

Another year has come and gone WOW!!! My new little girl and my little monkey, and friends with new babies and friends with new possibilities in life. How wonderful it is to be filled with joy as i look around at everyone's great adventures.

Little Mahly joined the crowd the day before Josiah's birthday, it was his great present. Happy Birthday my two loves.

My little princess, so adorable, Mom was super tired, i had not slept in 4 days. She was a big girl. I felt like the world came out of me. She was a doll. I love my little Mahly

She has my grumpy face, thats a Eva trait and her blue eyes and lighter hair aren't mine ;0) So i am not sure where in the line of genes that came from.

For Kaaja's Birthday we decided to keep it low key and take her to see the circus. She loved it so much! She will be attending future shows for sure. I don't know that i can do the VIP seating everytime, but we will try.

Little Kaaja loves monkeys and that's what she was for halloween.

And little Madison was a pirate ;0) She was so cute!!!

We took the girls to Southtowne Mall and they went to the Zoo as well.

We are excited for what we will be doing this coming year and how all our adventures will begin.

We started our early Saturday going to the "Days of 47 Parade", it was so much fun as always. We got a nice spot by the shade and Kaaja was a little hesitant but quickly warmed up after seeing the school marching bands and asked Dad to move out of the way so she could dance. It was too cute!

She was having fun riding dad like a horse.

This was for Sheylly and a buff man for her to stare at.

Then we headed over to my mom's house and enjoyed "Buttlerville Days", it was so nice that my mom lives right across from the main street so all we have to do is sit on the front lawn :)

Kaaja and Aunt Sheylly ofcourse, look how hot my sister is.. :) Kaaja was swimming in the front lawn with cousin, and they had a blast.

We had 3 cute Marines, Josiah got to the front too late, he was cooking Carne Asada and couldn't recognize these guys. But poor guys, those suits are freakin hot..everything Josiah would wear his he literally was melting. The Marines only participated once in the Days of 47 because the Commanding Sgt said it was okay, but the guy that they have now, doesn't support these kind of things, so they won't participate in anything now other than Toys 4 Tots.

We had a full house, Whipples, Bors, Barlows, Jacobbergers and all :)

My monkey was dying in the heat for sure.

Kaaja's favorite ofcourse was the HORSES.. so cute!

This is the funnest part, when the Excavating Company comes out and they soak everyone!

This little monkey is so big. I can't believe how time is flying by and I am not sure what to do to slow it down. I will be having my other new MONKEY in Sept and we decided to name her MAHLY. yep we are super excited and Kaaja loves watching Elza and just facinated by her.

We just kept in within family, and my mom got her Princess Themed items, since she loves to watch those movies. She is too cute.

Weekend Fun

We took Kaaja and Madison to the Aquarium and they both were just fascinated with all the fish and animals. I think they enjoyed it more this time that they know what the animals are.

Kaaja likes to run around everywhere so she needed her Tigger leash. Madison was okay. She wasn't trying to run away.

Madison was so cute as always.

Next day we celebrated my dad's birthday and we went to the park and had some ribs.. lots of ribs..

Morgan brought his dog, which the girls love.

and he is just a pup, so he is super friendly, and that is a lime Kaaja is stuffing into her mouth.

Josiah got my dad a Spider Man cake, I am not sure why..but he thought it was funny.

Yup my child is crazy, she puts on all her bands she can find on, at the same time and around her chest too, and graves my clothes too and puts them on. She will come up to me and say "HELP"

See.. she is nuts.. ;) but I love her!

We took the girls to the Zoo this weekend and Kaaja and Madison were in love with the animals again.

The monkeys were awesome, but this time they were obsessed with the Elephant and Giraffe.

It was the perfect weather for the Zoo, not hot all day. So the 2 1/2 hour walk seemed very pleasant for a preggo mom. It was great!

We were watching New Moon yesterday and it was funny because both Kaaja and Josiah had their hands above their head.. so much alike these two.

We got Kaaja the cutest sleigh bed for her and she is obsessed with monkeys, so I got her the sheet set and she was so happy. She is officially a big girl. She loves her bed and when it's bed time, there is no hesitation in her part, she runs right into her room. So this was a great investment.

See, she is just so comfortable. I thought she looked so cute sleeping. I love my little monkey.

Another thing this little gal is crazy about is coloring. good thing I have a tablet pc, so she can color all she wants on my computer. She is obssesed with computers too, so this works out perfectly for me.

This is how I found her when I came back to the room, she was just having a heck of a time.

Well I also discovered that this little Mini Diva, likes to pose for the camera, which tells me she is going to be like her Aunt Dara, she might want to explore modeling. With her height and personally, she might be okay.. she kept posing for me and I would say "Cheese" and she would do something different. Yes this was early in the am, so her hair is crazy!!! ;)

Yep she was being super silly this am..

Oh man this girl is a riot. You will always see her laughing and smilling. She is obsessed with singing to herself the Barney songs and Nursery Rhymes we hear. Yes I have learned them and sing them to her.

We went to Lisa's House for a Easter Party! It was so much fun and Kaaja was in love with the Bunny.

So Much Fun

Dara is due next month, and it's getting scary how close we are to still little girl to be here, we are so excited!!! We had a baby shower for her and she is the cutest gal in the world and people really love her!

Kaaja was a shatter box with the Jacobberger/Luttmer Clan. She blended right in.

It was so much fun to see all the girls and what they were up too at Ariana's birthday party. Man we are all mom's and some of us will be twice the momma's soon. So excited.

Then we went to church and it was Kaaja's first time in nursery that she stayed there for a whole class, with me and Josiah there ofcourse. We are a little partial to not leaving her alone. But one day we will.

This cute little boy kept stealing her fishes and well she doesn't care for them that much so she didn't mind.

Then she played with bubbles, they are so creative in Nursery, the kids really enjoy it there. As did Kaaja.

When Kaaja and Madison sleep over grandma's well they have too much fun! They don't mind not being home at all and the next day when it's time to really go home, lets just say they don't want too.

I love being a aunt, this little girl is so funny and both together are a riot!

Funny Girls

So I got Kaaja these cute PJ's, man she looked so cute. She is getting too tall. I have to start looking into Toodler Clothes next, this was 24 months, and it fits her perfect. I keep forgetting how small she really is, she is almost 17 months and she acts much older. She can say words in spanish, english, and sign language too. She is a talker, just like her parents.

I got to babysit Madison last week and Kaaja is obsessed with her cousin. They played all night and they were so cute, they kept laughing and dancing, and falling on the ground. They kept standing on Josiah's pelican cases and playing on it. They were so adorable.

NEW BABY

Yes it's true! Eva is pregnant again. This is very shocking news to me personally. I wasn't expecting another one until Kaaja was older. The lord works in marvelous ways and I am not anyone to get in the way of his plan. I am 9 weeks along. I have my first appointment February 16th. I have lost 20 lbs already. This is totally typical for me. I started to eat this week again. I appreciate food in a different level. I also still can't drink water without giving me a stomach ache, but when it goes down my throat, it feels so good. I like water.

My work is very understanding and they are very accomodating ofcourse. Josiah has been a good sport about taking care of Kaaja, since when I get home I am so tired! and just get into bed. The smell ofher diaper made me sick and I couldn't walk into a grocery store. I am on the way to recovery and I am so excited to be normal again. I can't wait for the next 8 months to be over and done with. So I can be normal again. We pray that this baby will be safe and that it may know how much it's loved, even though I hate being pregnant :). Not fun for me!

New Beginings

We got to spend some time with our family from Miami and we had such a nice time with them. I miss them and hope they know that we love them always. Kaaja got very attached to them.

Pipo and Ale, were awesome and so helpful with Kaaja. They were always holding her and playing with her. They would be awesome older sibblings to a little brother or sister. They talked funny and just acted different since they were from Miami. They stuck out like a sore thumb, you could say. They are so cute.

Kaaja and Madison love to take showers together. They just play and splash and Madison is very sweet.

We took her to the carousel at South Towne Mall, she didn't get dizzy. She has a good stomach.

We recently took her down to the temple to look at the lights. I wanted her to see the Big Jesus on the second floor in the visiting center. She knows who Jesus is and she will point him out at my moms, and Josiah's Parent's house. She will point and say Jesus. It's something we wanted her to learn first before any other words.

Do I need to say more? It was so cold! We had to double and triple layer ourselves.

Yaya... she was a monkey. She was the best monkey ever. She was greedy at times with her candy, she would be scared and grab one and then put it into her basket and then go again and grab a whole bunch. At times she was scared of the Trunk or Treat that we were at and just ran the other way. It was so funny! She kept acting like a monkey. Everyone at the mall loved her costume. She had the tail danglin and everything! It was the best purchase I made online :)

She was so intrigued by a candy that she got at Dee's Candy, it was orange and white. She kept holding it and sucking on it, until she got the wrapper off and broke the candy. The only annoying store that didn't participate with the whole mall was Express, which I am not shopping there ever. They put a big sign saying they didn't believe in the holiday nor did they want to participate. Yeah no one was in there shopping either, what a crappy manager that thought it was a good idea to put that sign out there. They should have just put "OUT OF CANDY" like the other stores.

So this was Kaaja's First Birthday Cake. ORANGE because Josiah wants to make sure she loves that color, since it's his favorite. Yeah he is a dork. But Josiah left the camera at home or something and I was so upset that we didn't have a camera. Ana and the girls took some awesome pictures. If it weren't for them, I would have nothing. So the very next day I went out and bought myself a new Cannon Powershot! Now I always have a camera. Yeah now the kicker is that Josiah bought a 8 GB SD card, and laptops can only see up to 2 GB and now I have to find a driver that will allow me to view the card.

All the kids were so great, I love seeing them running and they aren't just any kids. They are my friends kids. It's so GREAT to see that. It's family! All that came!

Thanksgiving Point

If there is anything that I have learned from my childhood, is the love of being adventurous and always doing things on weekends. Josiah and I are never home as some of you may already know. We are always going somewhere with Kaaja trying to get her mind to explore and learn new things. Everything we do is always around learning. She is so smart and not because I am her mother, but she can communicate with people by signing or pointing or just going up towards what she is curious about. She is learning very well and has a big love for books, she demands Josiah to read to her the same book sometimes 5 times. She never gets bored of Books. They say that these are the best times to teach these little brains that are so curious and we want to make sure we teach her all we can. The sky is the limit. She knows the words in english but will say them in spanish, like "WATER" she will say "AGUA" never water.

We had a great night with the Grandma and Grandpa Jacobberger yesterday. We went to Red Robin with Kaaja so she could get her birthday present from them. She was so happy and just loving the balloons of course!

Josiah had a BBQ with his friends and they came over and we had some Carne Asada with the Haslams and Andrew, and Sergio and Yara. It was chill and we just all ate. Yara is due Oct 8th.

Temple Square

We took Kaaja to the temple and she got out of the car very excited, we walked around the whole temple, and the sister missionaries loved her tigger and surprised on how big she was for only 11 months, and how well she walked. She loves attention. She walked around and at the end got so distracted that we had to hold her so she would keep walking. Her favorite part was touching the horses, she would scream and stand in place and watch them go by. She would just smile and giggle and point at them. It was super cute. My little girl growing up before my eyes. Her favorite word is "Agua" which means water in spanish. We loves playing in water.

The FINAL day

The very last day we spent in Key West, it was hot and it was lots of fun for Sheylly and Josiah. They went parasailing, and mom and I went to a bottomless boat ride. It sucked. I got really sick and even still have a headache from that boat ride. But everything else was so cool. We saw a freedom carnival cruise there and it was so big and neat to look at. We had a memorable time there and we will never forget it. Back to reality now. Next year we are attempting Cancun with my good friend Sinahi! I can't wait!!!

The other kid is my cousin Pipo, he was dressed like a geek, so we took a picture because we thought he was funny.

Today was another busy day as the rest of the week. We went to Miami's Metro Zoo, and it was soooo hot. We decided to rent a bike. It still took us 2 hours to get thru it all, and we did it in a speed format. We were all exhausted. The animals were sooo cool. We saw everything from Flamingos, and Tigers, Lions and camels. Everything. The entrance to the zoo was the coolest. The palm trees were so pretty.

The next day we went back to another side of the Everglades, this one was more successful, we saw what we wanted, the girls were asleep so my mom and I stayed in the car while Josiah and Sheylly took a air boat ride around the Everglades. It was cool to see what was around that area, we were told that the trees around that area use to be much bigger but Hurricane Andrew distroyed much of what was there. So sad. I was there when Hurricane Andrew hit.
Later we went home to rest before the main event at night.

Ale's SWEET 16TH, our cousin. She was so cute and we had a blast. Madison has a cousin that looks just like her twin but she has green eyes. She is super pretty. But we thought that it was so cool. We thought that everything was done so nice and she got her special night. We can't wait to get some professional pictures back from her. She looked beautiful!

The following day we headed to Biscayne and it was super cool, the water was nice and calm. Kaaja likes this ocean better. Not so many waves.
Then we headed to the Everglades, wow so many mosquitos. We got eaten alive there. We found some huge Mangos and we got some coconut drink, it was yummy.

The Everglades National Park was pretty chill, just the same, we were bummed because we didn't see any crocs, so we were determined to see some, but we called in a night for that day. We got home late.

We then went to The Mall, it was crazy, they had like Ross and Marshalls and all these stores in the actual mall. It was awesome but it was a long mall, 6 sections. We were tired. Then we went home to rest and Kaaja loved that chair, she would stay on it forever and just relax, her face says it all. Later we got ready for Bayside, the view was awesome. The night air was still very warm. We sat and watched the entertainment. Kaaja was laughing and clapping to the music. Madison was dancing, shacking her hips and moving her hands around. It was so great.

Miami

This was our first official day there, we stayed with our good friends the first night and we had so much fun with Christi and the other kids, Ruth was awesome. We have known Ruth since Sheylly was born, well we then went and hit Miami Beach, it was sooo cool. We were so not prepared for the Beach, we wer dragging things around and then all the sudden rain started to come down on all of us, so we thought, what the heck?? We are already wet, we might as well keep getting wet. It was so much fun. Kaaja had a blast. She was first a little scared of the beach but then it grew on her. This was the first day!! We loved it.

Welcome to Miami

We started our flight in Dallas and waiting to get to Miami, it was very exciting to get there, Kaaja was totally chill and relaxed. She fell asleep in both of the planes. It was very nice.

Although she couldn't stop smilling at everyone and pointing at people. Everyone would play with her and commented on how super happy she was all the time. She is becoming more like Josiah in that sense. He would get introuble in bootcamp he said because he couldn't stop smilling.

We took booth of the babies with us, so we took Kaaja and my mom took Madison. The girls loved being together.

Went CAMPING with Lisa

We went camping with Lisa, and her family. It was so relaxing and great to be with them. Sierra is a doll and such a beautiful girl, like her mom and dad. Sweet little spirit. Kaaja enjoyed her very much. Little Izi was adorable as well. We went fishing and just relaxed at the Uinta Mountains. What a great weekend this was. The weather was perfect! So nice. We used a pop up trailer, it was so comfortable. I love these kind of weekends. Low key and no technology or phones in sight. Just family and great friends!

24TH WEEKEND

We woke up on Friday with Parades in our brain. We went to The Days of 47 Parade. Kaaja loved seeing the horses and then we headed back to Cottonwood Heights and got ready for the parade there, and one of the exciting things there is that it's right infront of my mom's house, so it's very cozy, and one of the trucks went around shooting water, and it got all of us wet. It was a smart idea because it's was so HOT! Kaaja got drenched and so did my dad. It was a great parade and we got to see Big Buhda from FOX 13, in the Liahona Marching Band. He was sooo cute!

So our camera's battery charger broke and we are waiting for our new one to come in the mail so I don't have good pictures, so as soon as I get that charger I will put up some pictures. Kaaja will now walk with one hand holding her. She looks really cute, and she will also attempt to stand on her own. She is learning how to balance herself. She is doing a awesome job. She will take a couple of steps to mom and she does it really well. She can pretty much crawl really fast like she is running it seems. BUT walking is awesome, she is only 9 months and going for it, very ambitious of her like her mom. YES! So Kaaja will be walking way before she turns 1 year old in 3 months. How awesome. ALL thanks to her cousin Madison that is already walking. Anything Madison does, Kaaja will do it shortly right after.

Yes Kaaja is the lamest, she has peach fuzz hair. But hey this has taken 9 months to grow. IT'S HAIR TO ME, haha.

Before we ate at my parents for Efrain and Esteban's Bday, oh yes SHOUT OUT TO CLAUDIA for her Bday, is the same as my brothers. I always ditched my brothers to hang out with Claudia instead.

On Saturday, before we headed for Evanston Wyoming, as we do every year. We visited Sugarhouse and see what's going on there. I didn't take any pictures this year of the awesome firework wars this year. Kaaja fell asleep on me, but we took Dara and Eric, and Morgan and Derek with us up there. We had a blast. Kaaja is starting to make some of the funniest faces, I call her "Monkey" because she sounds like one and makes faces like on.

Ana and I took both the girls to go swimming, and they looked so cute together. Kaaja and Lannaea had so much fun. The pool wiped Kaaja out, so much that she literally was falling asleep in the pool in her floater. They are both so big and so adorable. Thanks Anita, what a great idea.

It was a blast and we got a little more darker today.

Franks Birthday!

Kaaja has grown up so fast, and I couldn't be happier. She has been a tough child, in just her persona, she is very attentive to details. She pays attention very well when she finds something that interests her. She will pick up on anything that is knowledgeable. She is very much like her dad in that sense. She takes the time to learn things and after she feels comfortable with what we are teaching her, then she broadcast it to us. She is learning more sign language signs. She is right now very interested in books. She likes you to read to her and she doesn't blink. She will sit there with you and read the book and look at the pictures very attentively. "Kaaja Prints"

Kaaja had no problem with the box, it was very entertaining to her.

Josiah's Camp Out

Josiah took Efrain to go camping and it was crappy weather but Josiah didn't care, they hiked up Big Cottonwood Canyon for 2 hours and ended up on top of the mountain somewhere. They were very tired and sleepy and set camp and hiked back down the next day. Josiah was so excited that Efrain didn't cancel on him because he really really wanted to go. So when Friday came around and Efrain showed up, it was all "systems go"! He got to use his really expensive tent, the one that professionals use, and he had a blast. Kaaja missed him very much, when she woked up and saw him, she started to smile and scream at him.

Kaaja and Madison, double trouble!

It's like bumper cars at my moms house, both of these girls keep the house alive and noisy and my mom yelling at Kaaja to stop doing something. Madison is the most relaxed and normal baby just like my other friends babies, but Kaaja is so wired all the time, full of energy, sometimes looks like a bully because she doesn't know how to be gentle with anything, even with the cat.

Madison is a big budha doll, I can't believe that she was a primie ever.

My two loves in this world, my Kaaja and Madison.

We went up for a nice BBQ at the canyons by my parents house and Josiah took Kaaja up for a hike and on her way down, she passed out.

She has a jumper now because she needs to get her energy out, she will wake up and I think to myself "Did she just have a red bull"?

Dara's Birthday

We started the day at Abel's place as we witnessed Josue's farewell talk. He was great and we could fee the spirit that was in that ward, of course Kaaja fell a sleep and we were all tired too, but it was fun.

Then we headed off to Dara's Dinner at the Jacobberger's

These are our favorite people in the world, this is Dara who is josiah's sister but in reality they should be twins, and her husband is the coolest guy on the block, this is Erik. We love these two. It was Dara's Birthday weekend and it was great to see them today, we watched "Curly Top" which is a Shirley Temple movie, and it was cute, and they played Monopoly and Erik won. This is always funny because noone ever wins. Only because there is too many acts of kindness while playing. It's great. There is never any competion. Only fun :) and love :)

Ofcourse Kaaja is no exception to crying when boys are holding her, If I am around, she doesn't want to be held by anyone other than me. So I have to hide usually if Josiah is with her, otherwise it's me she is crying for.

Yup as she played along, the plant was no exception and she went for it and she got it, and took it down.

It has been a very exciting couple of months with all sort of events going on, and we hope to make it to our own church one of these sundays, :) but as long as we keep being asked to go to someone's activity well our ward will have to wait or until our Bishop calls us into his office. :)

Growing and Growing

It's amazing to see little Kaaja growing so much infront of us and I can't imagine life without her, today was so exciting because she used the sign language for milk and come here today, this was so great because she didn't even cry and I would have had no idea that she was hungry since she had taken a bottle not too long before she signed to me that she wanted a bottle. She didn't cry, and there was no fuss, but out of the blue she signed for milk and then she was playing with her cousin Madison and with her hand she told her "to come here", of course Madison had no clue what Kaaja was saying but I see that it's paying off and she is starting to communicate with us thru sign language and it makes thing very simple to read from her, so even though she can't talk nor can I understand her language, I can totally understand her sign language. What a great tool!

So to all my girls, do it! I promise they understand, at first it will feel so weird and she will just look at you like you are from Mars, but consistantcy girls. Star, she is another friend and her little boy is on the same program as Kaaja, it's called "Your Baby Can Read" and he said his first word "BOOK" so I can't wait for Kaaja to do the same as well :)

Friends Forever!

Today was a great day. I got my hair done by my good friend and I went Mother's Day shopping and then went bowling with some friends. It was awesome, but the highlight of my day was seeing Leevi and Kaaja together, it's so cute!

This is cute little Leevi who is 3 years old and Kaaja who is 7 months old, he kept saying "Cute Baby", and yes he was totally right. They will be good friends when she is older and maybe fall in love! haha

Another Day

Kaaja keeps growing and now she is 7 months old. She is getting much more hyper and curious and more vocal of her need for attention from her mother.

When Josiah takes care of Kaaja, I am lucky that she has a diaper on, and well this time she looked really cute. Of course when I got home, she had her clothes on.. Sneaky Dad.

She finds everything curious and the toothbrush was no exception.

I laid her down and she just fell a sleep, I thought she was playing and then all the sudden I see she had fallen a sleep, this is only weird because she never sleeps on her back. She likes sleeping on her tummy better.

Day in the Park

My biggest present of course is Kaaja, she is so cute and she makes life worth getting old, I think all the girls can agree with that statement, the babies are our life now.

Kaaja actually likes Vanessa, out of everyone. I don't know why, even with Aunt and Uncle's she is not okay but she likes Vanessa, Something is wrong.

I hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend, our family was sick and well we still went ahead and did what we needed too.

We spent Easter with both families but majority of the time we were with the Jacobberger's, it was very fun. Kaaja loved hanging out there in her walker. It made it easier for everyone to interact with her. Since she could freely walk anywhere she felt like.Enjoy our pictures. We also got to spend some time with our favorite people and also part of our family, Yara and Sergio.

DADA

Kaaja said her first word clearly this Saturday, it was awesome. Of course I don't think she was sane, otherwise she would have said "MUM" but she said "DADA", Josiah called me into her room and said hear what she is saying. "Kaaja say 'DADA'," and sure enough she looked at me and said "DAAADA" It was super cute.

She has said "MUM" before but I don't think she knew what she was saying, but this time she knew what she was saying, I just don't know that she understands that DAD isn't mom, Dad is Josiah, but hey she will learn.

Sheylly also got her some red looking converse, that she will be sporting probably in a month or so, right now she fits in a size 2 shoe and these are like size 4.

She is obessed with this fixture while she walks in the walker around the house, she loves to put this in her mouth and it's the only item in the house she will actually walk towards without any hesitation.

Almost 6 Months Old

Kaaja is our princess from heaven, the one thing in our lives worth more than the world to us. There is no amount of money that can replace her nor any amount of time not worth being with her. I can't even go work out and say I don't miss her.

Sheylly use to put tights in her head and swing her head around and think that it was her hair, well we just thought this looked funny on Kaaja! The second picture here, it's a little treat to what is on the other side... ha ha yep.. It was her first time that she has ever gone outside her diaper. Never has she pied outside or in her clothes. But yeah I would post the 3rd picture but people would think it's gross. This is something that I picked up growing with Leah and Claudia, EVERY SINGLE TIME Karl would use #2 he would get a bath, it didn't matter if it was 4 or 5 times a day, and Li and Claudia would take turns washing him. I picked that up and Kaaja gets to enjoy her baths now. :)

It's great to look how old Kaaja is getting and realize that Ariana and Lannaea are all born on the same day, just different months, BUT they will all have Adam, who is a good friend of ours, her little boy to teach them the ropes. :)

SO WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!

Kaaja got her first tooth. It was kinda of weird because she has been slobbering like a crazy nut for the longest time now and so we have bigs for her that she wears every day. Although I would have never guessed it would be because she is teething, so if you can even see her little two teeth on my camera on my phone, those two little white spots are her teeth that are now totally out of her gums. They are still small and not all the way out but like 30% out of the gum. I can't believe it, she is only 4 months and going to 5 months in 2 days!!! Wow!! So cool!

Kaaja is starting to do the funniest things, my sister in law said to me that when Lily was in each different stage, she always thought that, the stage she was in was the best, until she moved on the other stage. So in short Kaaj she is awesome!

She loves Sheylly's room, this is like her new "Happy Place", she calms down and she likes to smile alot. Sheylly says that it's because her room is the coolest and all the Elvis and Marilyn and Bob Marley posters. I don't know what it is, but she likes something. I choose to think that it's because Kaaja can look at Sheylly at eye level. HAHA. Kaaja is so much fun and she loves to hang out with anyone she knows. She is much better at not crying when someone holds her. Thus... she doesn't mind grandpa.

Kaaja us growing quickly and she is very smart, so we think. She is learning right now where her nose, eyes and mouth are. We teach her the sign language for milk, and yes and no. She seems to grasp it pretty well. She has gotten in the mode lately to talk and scream her head off. We went to Efrain's place to have family diner on sunday and Kaaja was infront of Madison and Kaaja just kept screaming and yelling at her,and my Madison looked at her as if she was crazy. It was the cutest thing ever. Madison is more mature than Kaaja by 3 months so it was really funny. I will post that video next. But Kaaja gets all hiper and looks like she gets fustrated, me and Josiah just talk to her like we understand her and keep moving the flow on the conversation.

It's awesome to see her and all her stages that she has grown thru, I definately don't miss her being 2 month's old. It keeps getting better. She sleeps awesome thru the night, we only wake up once to feed her and she goes back to bed until 6 ish or 7ish. She takes naps about every 2 hours.

Josiah goes to work by 5:30 am and then I get up with Kaaja around 6ish and then our day starts, she feeds and she will watch some Baby Einstein. Then she gets bored and we will "talk" and then we walk around and I get ready for work in between, and around 7:30 am we head out to grandma's house. She sometimes, mostly anyways. She falls asleep in the car and takes a nice 30 minute nap and then it's like her batteries are recharged and is ready to wreck with you.

We are also trying to teach her to crawl, she has the jist of it, she will lay on her tummy, and wiggle her feet but doesn't move yet. It's so cute. We will wake up to her in the middle of the night to her playing, and her little head it just looking up in her crib, As soon as I say "Good Morning Princess" and I turn her over she will have this big smile. She sleeps in her tummy. So many people have told me that it was bad for them, because of X reasons, but Kaaja will only fall asleep on her tummy. Dont' be fooled, she looks like an angel there, but she makes your batteries drain out.

Morgan and Derek Whipple

Monday was a fun night, we got to hang out with the Whipple's. Well Morgan and Derek anyways. We had them over for diner at my mom's house.

We had some carne asada and some seviche. It was really yummy. Although Morgan and Derek were late coming to my house, it was okay. :)Both of them are so tall. Morgan in the orange hat, he is like 6'3 atleast. Derek is like 6'1. Both kids are so tall! YIKES, and yes and if you didn't know, Morgan is now officially Sheylly's Boyfriend. Our family is so excited for them because we love Morgan, we have known their family since they were 5 years old. Sheylly and Morgan and Derek grew up together. I use to babysit them. It was fun seeing Morgan in his cowboy outfit and Derek wasn't toilet trained quite yet so I got to change his diapers. These kids are like an extension of our family. We love these kids and their family.

MY CHUNK MONSTER

This is my cute little Madison, she is my niece as well. We have had a busy year. Madison is like 4 months older than Kaaja. Madison is the nicest baby you will ever come across. She has the cutest personality. She is totally happy all the time and even while teeting, she is the happiest baby. IT'S INCREDIBLE. She loves to play all the time, she loves to try and get Kaaja but Kaaja has little interest for her right now. Kaaja will just stare at her and look at her like she is crazy. It's sad because when mom is holding Kaaja and playing with her, Madison will just stare at her. She alsmost looks sad. She is so spoiled with love right now. She is so cute and well she is a little sick right now. But we hope she gets over it quickly. This is my chunk monster, she is big budah's long lost child, haha. We joke about it because when she was born she was 4 pounds and now she is 33% over weight.She is so cute!

Vanessa's Baby Shower

It was so much fun! Kaaja was able to accompany me and we had a blast. Babak's Mom is so cute, for those that haven't met her, she is a gem. She loved Kaaja and pretty much any other baby in the room. She was so cute, unfortunately Kaaja is so picky with the people she will be good with, that she just wasn't one of them. We did learn a new word in her language. We learned how to say Baby.

We missed Leah, we wish that she was here! I suggested that we got a balloon and draw her in there somewhere. No one was up for it :) Ha Ha. Love you Leah!!!

We thought that this day would never come, especially with Vanessa in bed rest. This has been the best year yet, we are now just waiting for Claudia to have a girl. Whenever you are ready Claudi. Ha Ha.

It was really cool, Kaaja loved Vanessa. She was laughing so hard with her. Can you notice my face is shrinking back to it's size! SWEET!!!!

We got to hang out with the older crowd, the mothers. Yes thats not us, that's referring to the MOTHERS, like Vanessa's mom, and Claudia's mom. They are so awesome!! I can't tell you all how cool these people are.. Congratulations Vanessa and Babak!

Josiah's New Car!

So we have been wanting to get a family car for a while now. Not only do we both have big families and we are both very active with our Jacoobberger abd Bor clans.. so we thought we might as well get a family car that can fit everyone right!

Yep so we decided to do that, Dad Jacobberger helped us get our car and it is awesome, now when we go places, we can all go in one car! We went with a Ford Expedition. We can fit 9 people! Can you guys believe that? Yikes, so Ana and Nate and Lannaea in one row, Vanessa and Babak and Ariana in the other row and Kaaja and Josiah and me in the other! Or Mom and Dad Jacobberger in one row and Dara and Erik in the other row and then us! Well you get the point. I will post pictures as soon as Josiah gets to it and I am so excited for all of us to fit. I know that it's kind of silly buying a big car with the economy but SUV's are so cheap right now that well we couldn't pass it up! Can't wait for you to see it!!!

Kaaja Eva Bor Jacobberger

Hi!
This is the joy of our life right now! We love and adore her so much. She is a riot! There is times when yes I want to run away but most of the time I feel like kissing her! She doesn't like it all the time.

Josiah takes care of her majority of the time during the week. I have to work and I don't get home until 6 pm and so Josiah gets off at 2:30 and her bed time is 7 pm. Yes she really goes to bed at 7 pm. Ask anyone who has been around us, she gets really cranky. We know then, that she is ready for bed. She is a treat though. She smiles at you as soon as you tell her that she is so pretty or you say HI! Yep she knows those words very well. I call her "sweetheart" or "princess". She enjoys being called "Stinker" though. It's very entertaining to see all her stages. Right now she really enjoys making bubbles with her saliva. She presses her mouth together and attempts to talk but blows bubbles with her mouth instead.

You may ask, "So why so much saliva?". Ha Ha. Sure one quick answer to that "Josiah". YEP!
You don't believe me, I have to tell Josiah to swallow his saliva because sometimes I can see it on the side of his mouth, who knows! What else you ask?

She has stinky feet, yep just like her dad. Yes and they sweat so bad! They are WET with sweat. Her hands also get sweaty and cold. That's also Josiah. He has bad circulation on his toes and so he is always freezing. So she has it on her hands. But close enough.

She also has brown and dark curly lashes like her dad. She has mom's eye expressions. She can give you a mean and dirty look in a second and smile at you the next. Yup that's me. Ask my friends. Kaaja also loves to stand on her feet, she has been doing that since she was 2 months old. She loves to stand, she doesn't quite walk of course but she hates being idle and not doing anything. She knows what up and down means. She likes to stand up with you say up and then sit down when you say down.

She loves to stare at electronic items, not because she is bored but she likes Baby Einstein and she sleeps with her Baby Einstein inspired instrumental and classical music every night. We know that it stimulates the brain and well why not help her be more smart right. She loves looking at mirrors and laughing and smiling at herself. She is so much fun and everyday she grows and becomes more her own person.
